I was unable to find Roger's obituary, so I thought I'd share a few updates on his life.  I didn't know Roger in high school, but Luke Roth signaled me back in the 90's that Roger was living in Waterloo, Iowa where I lived.  Roger was an engineer working for John Deere.  Turns out that Roger & his wife Vicki worked with my husband Pat at the Engine Works site; their daughter & son went to the same schools our daughters went to; and our families both belonged to the same neighborhood pool.  Small world!  His family still lived in St. Louis back then so it was always fun to catch up on Webster news with him. Roger was such a down-to-earth guy, likeable and easy to talk to.  When he died unexpectedly in November 1999, it was a devastating loss to his family and everyone who knew him at work, in the community, & his church.  Besides his wife, son & daughter, he left behind a beloved dog & many friends.

Hi Marty, Pete Quinn here, Roger and I grew up together and went through Bristol,Steger, and Webster and was in each others wedding. Unfortunately Roger took his own life back in November of 1999. That was very nice what you said about him. I miss him every day. Take care and see you at the reunion.

I remember Roger from Mrs. Bradshaw's class at Steger.  Seemed like a chap you wouldn't want to mess with!  I remember a funny expression he seemed to make up on the spot.  He was calling someone a dumbs--- but stopped himself mid-word and said DUMBSHAFT to avoid Mrs. Bradshaw's wrath.

Speaking of Mrs. Bradshaw.  "Back in Peoria  ..."   Roger, myself and others had fun mocking the dear old lady.  Old?  Much younger then than we are now!
