Joseph (Chip) Jones

Keith and I were in a scouting like father-son group called “Indian Guides,” during our elementary school years.  I was the top chess player in 5th/6th grade for my class. Keith was the top chess player in his 5th and 6th grade class.  He would beat me when we played chess.  I learned a lot from Keith about chess.  He was a fun friend to hang out with.  His dad was a top heart surgeon.  I remember, his dad one time sharing the many different rhythms/sound the heart would make based on different profiles.  We would get our grade level group together to play some sort of ball game after school or on a weekend.  I remember playing football with Keith.  I never saw someone that could move the way he did when running that ball.  It was quite an athletic skill he had.  He sure was smart and had a good personality.   His family was so supportive/neat as we grew up together.
