Hey John, I ran into Gayland a few years ago in Overland Park Kansas. He was playing solo at a local Bristo. We got to talking and he said he was doing some gigs and DJ work around Kansas City. We talked about Paul a lot.
Paul was a friend from grade school (Avery) on. Together in high school, we attended the First Congregational Fellowship group where we connected in our guitar playing and singing. Soon we were joing by Gayland Titus and became Titus, Knight & Wehling - playing at many high school & Fellowship functions as well as at Ground Round way out west on Manchester Rd. as well as other venues. He was always a brilliant, gentle and fun soul. I just can't believe that he and Gayland are gone.....

Paul was my best friend at Avery School.
I still have his album Titus and Wehling he gave to me in 1976 when he was playing in Kansas City.
RIP Paul.
